What Is The OSHAverse?

The OSHAverse is a group of accounts that originally began when "Osha-official" was deleted from tumblr. It has since evoved from just gimmick response accounts to a full rp universe based around a fictional OSHA building. Many individuals in the OSHAverse have an OSHA department for something specific - such as a specific world or job - though some are simply there for fun.Most characters have their own lore/plots that sometimes mix with other characters. In its most basic form, the "OSHA" part of the OSHAverse is more a setting than a descriptor of the characters or a specific universe.

What kind of characters are in the OSHAverse?

Though it isn't required, many characters in the OSHAverse are ones who would be considered "OP" in other settings - from Eldritch Beings to Gods to living dreams, anything goes in the OSHAverse! Characters who are less powerful have a unique challenge, such as the incredibly intelligent Merlyn (union-of-mad-scientists), who uses her knowledge and science abilities to solve problems, instead of magic or other powers.Nothing is too "OP" for the OSHAverse, though more powerful characters are usually balanced out by an equally powerful flaw or issue, such as trauma, bindings etc. This keeps things from being completely unfair!

I don't want to join the OSHAverse but I want to interact!

Many - if not all - OSHAverse accounts will accept asks and interactions from non-OSHAverse accounts! As the OSHA building is a place, other characters can easily visit, though keep in mind many characters are quite violent and OSHA is very dangerous!Mains, OOC accounts, and other non-character accounts can also interact! This can be done in the form of asks, and sometimes even interactions! Interactions from non-character accounts should be kept less serious though - since technically, if you aren't a character, you don't exist in universe!

What is the OSHAverse's general lore?

The OSHAverse is a pretty free-for-all setting - the "lore" is very fluid and loose, which makes it easy to add a new character!Generally, the lore is that the OSHA building is made up of multiple clashing realities, meaning any form of magic, or any other abilities, can work here! Why this is happening is generally not static, though one version of it is that Alam from osha-janitor created a "Weirdness Magnet" of sorts that allowed multiple realities to converge without causing issues.Generally, the character lore is seen as more important than the setting's lore. Most accounts are more than happy to tell you about their lore if you send them an ask!

How do I make an OSHAverse account?
